Relationship Counselling
Support for couples facing difficulties or looking to strengthen their relationship
How We Can Help
Relationship counselling provides a safe, confidential space where couples can explore difficulties and find ways to strengthen their bond. Our experienced counsellors help you understand patterns in your relationship, improve communication, and work through challenges together.
Whether you're experiencing conflict, communication problems, intimacy issues, or simply want to enrich your relationship, our counselling can help you build a healthier, more satisfying connection.
Common Reasons Couples Seek Counselling
Communication breakdown
Recurring arguments and conflict
Trust issues or infidelity
Intimacy or sexual difficulties
Major life transitions (e.g., becoming parents, retirement)
Different expectations or values
Impact of mental health issues on the relationship
Considering separation but wanting to try counselling first
What to Expect
In your first session, your counsellor will get to understand your situation and what you hope to achieve through counselling. Both partners will have the opportunity to share their perspective in a neutral, non-judgmental environment.
Subsequent sessions will focus on exploring the issues in more depth, developing new communication skills, and working towards your relationship goals. Your counsellor won't take sides or tell you what to do, but will guide you in finding your own solutions.
Most couples attend weekly or fortnightly sessions for 6-12 weeks, though this varies depending on your needs. Each session lasts 50 minutes.
"Counselling offers a safe space to express and explore feelings with someone who can help in a positive and practical way. It has helped me enormously on my journey to deal with anxieties and problems."
